Take the trash out. Having refuse indoors may attract rodents and insects. Allergies are often exacerbated by mouse excrement. The last thing you need are rats crawling around leaving droppings everywhere, make sure you get rid of them with traps. Try poison if it doesn’t work.
Chances are, your children with allergies have emergency medication. A note from a pediatrician explaining the allergies your child has can be useful. Give the school a couple of doses of his medication in case of emergency. It can also be helpful to give the school a list of possible allergens and have your child keep one in his backpack as well.
